Home Improvement Project

Greg and I have been in our house for almost three years. We had it built because we wanted to select our colors. Anyway, our carpet in the family rooms looks as if we have been living in this house for several years. With two weimaraners, one toddler, and one school aged child, the carpet looks horrible. We even paid for the stain resistant carpet. We have been talking for a while now about installing hardwood floors in our family room. We still wanted to keep carpet in the bedrooms and the rest of the house is tiled. We decided to use our Christmas money to purchase the flooring. Greg asked his dad to help him install it. They began installing Friday and are finishing up today. So far I love it. The dogs are getting adjusted to walking inside the house because they slide across the new floors. Here are some pictures of the work in progress. I will post more once the project is finished.
