I know it has been a long time since I last blogged, but what does one expect? I've been a little busy with a very active 2 year old who thinks he is grown, a 1 year old who refuses to walk, 4 dogs, Greg, and Alyssa. Actually, Alyssa is the easiest of all of them.
Anyway, I spent the month of May packing up my room at Harlem. I'm transferring to Lamar Elementary. Honestly, it wasn't a school I had ever considered working at, not that it's bad, just never thought about it until one day I received an email. The counselor I worked with at Alamo is also transferring to Lamar and asked if I would consider transferring there. It was no big secret I wanted to transfer. I loved the people I worked with this past year, it was just a very difficult year for me and I badly needed a change. So, I will once again be teaching 4th grade this year. I am very EXCITED about going to Lamar. I think we are going to have a great team. No offense to my previous teams.
You know, I was extremely upset when I had to leave Alamo in September. It of course was not by choice, but I God knew His plans for me while I was questioning why I was the one who had to go. I never would have left Alamo on my own, so God made me. I strongly believe that Lamar is where He wants me to be.

Future American Idol
A while back I was watching some kind of ice skating show on TV and Caleb began to sign and dance. I grabbed my phone to video him. He really got into it for a while.

Christmas Pictures

During Thanksgiving, my brother-in-law Jerry took some pictures of all the grandkids. We started a little late because my two were sleeping and we wanted to see Greg off to work. Anyway, they all did great considering the mosquitoes were awful. In several pictures, Caden had one on his little face. They turned out great considering mine are still babies and don't really care or understand to stay still and look at the camera.

Santa!

We spent a crowed hour at Toys r Us tonight. We decided to go and check out the toys with the boys. Note to self: Caleb liked everything. We bought both of them some things, because they probably won't remember they have seen it before. After that, we went to the mall to take a picture with Santa. I put on their plaid shirts as we waiting in line because I didn't want Caden to spit up on his. Well, of course he did.. a lot. His shirt was soaked by the time we got up there. Greg took Caleb up front to let him see Santa. He waved at him, so we figured things would go well. At first, he didn't want to sit on his lap. I bribed him with a mint thinking they were about to take the picture. WRONG! They were having issues printing other pictures, so we had to wait. Finally they were ready. Caden was sleepy and Caleb has a mint in his mouth, but hey...at least they weren't screaming.
